oh wow...i like the background, but it seems too busy to read the text. the texts look very clutter, esp when it extends all the way to the right...
ReplyDeleteThe word "experimental" and "layout" are the same size? maybe you want to enlarge the title to distinguish from the topic.

the text is competing with the background. You should leave enough margin around the text. I really like the background of how you incorporated with the book.

ReplyDeleteThe two parts of the title seem a little too separate. A little closer? Does the title background need to be offset? Is this similar to treatments in the book?
Yes, the floating words are overpowered by the background graphics. Larger words? Why are the words just floating around the top? The feel like navigation.
Yes more margin (padding, in web terms) for the body text. Experiment with different padding. You can make the padding specific to each side - top, right, bottom and left.
This colored grid is different from your poster. It's good and has a kind of 1950s retro feel. Maybe You can make this grid a little more structured - somewhere between solid and broken (like we discussed re. the poster) and use in both the site and the poster?
