A webpage design that contains Peter Bi'lak's article- experimental typography. whatever it means. "It's just an experiment" is actually a quote i got from the article. The diagonal bar is positioned as fixed so it remains at the same spot as the page scrolls down.
From what I get, "just experimenting" is essentially the spirit of experimental typography. Experiment typography varies from graffiti to album cover designs but in general, they are all bold and beautiful; expressisve and creative. I tried to represent the boldness of experimental typography with massive bold diagonal forms and fonts. Also included some of my own experiment in the background which the bright color adds to its intensity.

The fixed bar in front is great! At first you think "WTF - it's blocking the text", but it is a pleasant surprise when you scroll and it just sits there.
ReplyDeleteThe body text is a bit wide. Narrower column? You could leave the overall width the same, just make the right margin wider?
More photos would be nice. More experimental type to look at.
