So I'm working towards this poster idea. I wanted to create a graphic by having the letter "H" in read and sort of like a shadow stacked behind it. I wanted to place the important information in it such as the year Helvetica was developed and who develop it. I then remembered that I had this quote in my book, and also in my webpage, so I decided, why not have it on my poster as well. As for the big bold Helvetica...i use the color Red for the first letter just so it can stand out and then I decided to play with this gradient color from dark to light with the rest as it read from left to right starting with the E to the A...

Did you try the gradient effect across the 'H's? Might be fun to play with the idea of the gradient a little and see what happens. Although the shape made by the black 'H's is pretty nice - you might want to keep that. Hard to say until you look at it.
