So since it was a suppose to be a one page webpage and we're not suppose to have any other links or navigations...I removed the navigations, even thought they weren't links.
So what I have it basically the header above with a dotted line going horizontally across just to give a border line look, that way there aren't so many white spaces and you can't tell if its the header or the title of the webpage. My text is basically the "about" section and to the right is just an image I found on the link that Josh gave me about Experimental Jetset which I found interesting about the Helvetica poster that they made. And on the bottom I have two other images as well.
Navigation that aren't links? That's interesting. Is that some kind of torture? ;)
ReplyDeleteLet's see a screen shot that includes the images on the bottom (below the fold as they say in web-speak).
The layout is clean, concise and makes good use of the two colors. Problem is that it' just a little too sparse and consequently a little dry/boring. Can you use color and type treatment to make the page a little more engaging? The first paragraph uses color and font weight to emphasize the two names. Can you use that treatment elsewhere? First sentence of each paragraph (if they don't sound stupid being highlighted/standing out)? Are there any sub heads for this section of text that could go bold and red? A pull quote or phrase to go with 'Helvetica' in the banner? Maybe a graphic to go in the banner? Some of the graphics you have in your posters might work - the stacked 'H's?
More photos?
What's with the crazy narrow column below the Exp. Jetset image? Why have you repeated the wording in the image? I'm confused (and it aint the Vicodin).
