The last one is an interesting visual treatment, but not much there in terms of message.
What is your message? Doesn't seem like you have one, other than "here is Helvetica". It doesn't have to be anything earth shattering, but something. Helvetica as the epitome of modernism? Helvetica as the epitome of Swiss modern? Helveitca as the ubiquitous typeface. Helvetica as the ultimate cool? Halvetica is just plain vanilla? What? Write it in a brief sentence - be definitive and concise. Use this sentence as a reference while you work. As you design, make sure you are able to justify your decisions with the sentence.
Overall, I think you previous designs were stronger. Maybe use that previous design as a starting point but with 50th Anniv. as the theme and not the movie?
