For project three I wanted to focus on various types of experimental typography (i.e. cartoon/comic, formal, branding, just for fun…) but since I couldn’t find enough specific information like I wanted, I decided to focus on the conceptual realm of “experimental typography” and what exactly that means to designers. My book focuses on 7 articles written by all types of designers expressing their viewpoints on experimental typography as a movement, idea, art form, and means of personal expression. I plan on going about it in a simple way by letting the images and text speak for themselves instead of “fancifying” (I know that’s not a real word) the book itself. I will utilize the white space of the pages to let the reader easily and comfortably navigate through my book. The typefaces will be clean (sans-serif) for captions and titles but serif for body text (easier readability).

I wasn't sure what we were supposed to do with the mood board, so I kinda just threw together a bunch of images that I found during topic research.

I haven't done the cover yet, but I'm thinking of making an image that shows the evolution of type that mimics those evolution of man images.

For some reason when I upload this image it switches all blues to red and reds to blues. I tried doing it a few times and it wouldn't stop. So all blues and reds should be switched.
